A very happy 4th of July to all our American readers and all those celebrating American Independence Day.I've only ever been in America (Florida) once for the 4th of July celebrations, and I remember a joyous evening sitting on Hollywood Beach, watching the fireworks.
The photo at the top of this post (and used in the banner of this blog) was taken in Hollywood Beach the day before Independence Day a few years ago, as the local residents and businesses prepared for the next day's celebrations.
